Twilight Photography
Twilight photography balances the hues of post-sunset and the electric blue of nautical twilight with the interior and exterior lights of the home.
What to expect
Twilight photos rely on careful planning because the window to shoot is very short and the color of the sky is very dependent on the weather. I use an app to determine the perfect time to shoot, and when I arrive on-site, I’ll typically shoot multiple exposures to get the light just right. I might use several of those exposures for the final image. On a residential twilight shoot, I typically deliver one front exterior image and two or three of the pool. An architectural project is usually just one shot. Once I’ve taken the photos, I’ll edit and deliver them to you via Dropbox.
Investment

Sometimes you need an elevated perspective! Some buildings are too tall to shoot from the ground. Some homes might have a lake (or ocean!) behind it that cannot be seen from the ground.
What to expect
I am a certified commercial drone pilot (Part 107 license) and I have the knowledge to abide by the rules of the FAA and maintain strict safety guidelines. Just like with standard photography, I consider weather and time of day for best light, and I take the time to carefully consider the composition of the photo. Once I’ve taken the photos, I’ll edit and deliver them to you via Dropbox.
Investment
$150 ($125 if added on to a larger project) for residential photography. For other projects, pricing varies. Contact me for details.
